Christmas fairytale of Austrian lakes

United-Kingdom-flag-icon  This Saturday was truly magical. In spite of the blizzard and the big problems on the roads around Croatia, we still managed to experience the magic of advent at Austrian lakes. In one of the most beautiful Austrian region Salzkammergut, we visited few picturesque towns situated on the banks of wonderful lakes Wofgangsee and Hallstatsee. In cute little town St. Wolfgang we took a romantic half-hour boat ride toward St. Gilgen, the birthplace of Mozart’s mother. We also visited the aristocratic resort Bad Ischl best known for the Imperial Villa, summer residence of the famous Sissi. To be quite honest I found this town less interesting, but we had a nice time in one of the most known Austrian coffe house Zauner, where we tried famous cake Ischler. At the end we enjoyed the pearl of Austrian lakes, romantic Hallstatt, with glasses of punch in our hands and smile on our faces.
